Description
Baradello Castle is the symbol of Como and one of the most important historical monuments in the Lake Como area. Built by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa on previous fortifications and located in a strategic and spectacular position, it has dominated the City and the first basin of the Lake from above for centuries. From the top of its high tower the view is breathtaking and its walls have witnessed all the most important historical events in northern Italy. Surrounded by the greenery of a protected natural park, it can be reached by beautiful and easy walks from several points in the city and its visit is an unforgettable experience, an incredible immersion in the history, nature and soul of this area. There are several options for visiting Baradello Castle. Check availability on the calendar and choose the one you prefer!
Requirements: Comfortable, suitable for walking. Children are welcome, they love the castle. Access with strollers is not possible.
Difficulty: Suitable for all. Climb to the tower via a suspended ladder at about 15m, to be considered if you suffer from vertigo.

Private Tour Ticket: In addition to what is included in the Standard Entrance Ticket, the ticket includes a guided walk from Camerlata (or other starting point to be agreed upon) of about 2h to the castle through Spina Verde Park, opening and exclusive visit to the castle.
